Audit family-friendly university
In December 2019, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences will be awarded the "audit familiengerechte hochschule" (family-friendly university audit) for the 5th time and will thus receive the right to continue to use the certificate, which is protected throughout Europe.

Care for family members

Parent-child workroom
A parent-child workroom has been set up for emergency situations - at the Rheinbach and Sankt Augustin. The room is equipped with a networked PC workstation and has a play and quiet corner for children. read more
Vacation care
During Easter and fall school breaks, the Try it vacation program is held for children of university employees. read more
Parents meeting
The HELP Counseling Center, within the framework of the Equal Opportunity Office of the H-BRS, regularly organizes parent meetings for pregnant women and students with children. The goal of the meetings is to build a network among students with families. read more
Welcome package for newborns
Every newborn of students and employees of the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences receives a welcome package for his or her birth. The university thus warmly welcomes every university child of students and employees to life and to the family-friendly campus. read more
Parent-child parking
A total of three parent-child parking spaces are available at the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach campuses for university employees who are at the university with their child. read more
HELP - Guide
A small-format guide is available to all university members with children. The folding map shows the parent-child services offered by the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. The guide is available at the offices of the equal opportunity offices in Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach.
Children playground
A children's playground is available on the university grounds especially for children of students and employees of the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
Diaper changing rooms
At the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach campuses, a diaper-changing room is available to all university parents for the care of their child. The key is available at the reception desk.
High chairs
The university provides high chairs for children in the canteen at the Rheinbach and Sankt Augustin campuses.
