Corona pandemic: This applies since 4 April

The 2022 summer semester at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg will largely take place in attendance. At the beginning of April, the legal basis for the 3G rule and the mask requirement expired in North Rhine-Westphalia. This means that these regulations at the university and the checks at the main entrances no longer apply. However, the university management recommends retaining proven hygiene measures for the protection of all.

General protective measures

The university management strongly recommended that established hygiene measures such as the AHA rules be maintained in the university to ensure protection against Covid 19 infection. In particular, it is recommended that a medical mask or FFP2 mask continue to be worn in the university buildings. A minimum distance of 1.5 metres between people should also be maintained wherever possible.

If typical symptoms of an infection with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus or an acute infection are present, contact with other persons should be avoided at all costs. In these cases, a coronary test should be carried out as soon as possible.

The Corona measures and hygiene concept (only german and for registered users) of the H-BRS applies to all sites and is constantly updated due to current changes in the legal requirements. On the page Info and Measures for Staff you will find further information on preventive measures taken by the university management (both pages are only available on the intranet). In addition, the Corona poster (PDF for printing) provides information on hygiene rules.
